For charities

OnRecord is for charities who:

  • Help and support clients with ongoing problems, for example abuse, neglect, discrimination or poor service;
  • Help sectors of the population to secure funding from Local authorities or other agencies where an assessment of needs is required.

It is suited to circumstances where clients need evidence gathered over time to support their case, so that they can get well targeted support or protection, legal advice, funding or make an effective complaint and have the best possible chance of success.

It is suited to cases where the conduct of others results in neglect, cruelty, and other forms of abuse in institutions such as:

  • Care homes
  • Children’s care settings

  • Clubs or other organisations
  • Employing organisations

It is suited to clients making funding or support requests to local authorities or where local authorities are undertaking assessments for:

  • Adult social care
  • Children with additional needs
  • Parenting
  • Kinship
  • Children’s contact
  • Educational needs

Our OnRecord app allows users to input text, voice records, photos, video – all tagged for location and time – together with a seriousness/impact rating. Data is immediately uploaded in encrypted form to our highly secure database so that it can be reviewed centrally, searched, analysed and downloaded to be used in reports and statements. The client’s mobile phone shows uploaded data in both calendar and timeline format enabling them to see graphically the extent, frequency and seriousness of their circumstances.

A number of security features have been included to safeguard users:

  • Settings can prevent any uploaded data to be shown on the mobile device
  • Only specified professionals can see the stored data
  • The screen icon on the mobile device can be changed to be less recognizable (Android devices only)
  • Fingerprint and/or PIN access
  • Immediate logout with the Home button requires re-login (fingerprint/PIN) to re-access the app.
